Spies Hecker has expanded the Permasolid HS Vario Primer Surfacer 5340 line with two new colour options – White and Grey – replacing the former Light Grey. The existing Black shade continues as part of the system, creating a streamlined three-shade concept: White, Grey and Black.

This update gives refinishers more precise shade selection within the system, helping achieve better colour accuracy while reducing the number of basecoat layers required. The result is enhanced coverage and a more streamlined workflow in the spray booth.

Formulated for flexibility, the Permasolid HS Vario Primer Surfacer 5340 can be applied as either a sanding surfacer or wet-on-wet filler. It provides excellent adhesion on bare metal, OEM primers, plastics, and other common substrates, and remains VOC compliant.

As part of this update, the Permasolid HS Vario Primer Surfacer 5340 Light Grey has now been phased out and discontinued from the product range.
