This two-day refinish course will equip paint technicians with the necessary skills required to become fully proficient with the Spies Hecker Hi-TEC Performance System.
On day one, course attendees are taken through the Hi-TEC Performance System and experience first-hand the ease and speed with which the Hi-TEC Performance System products can be applied.
Training begins with surfacer application techniques using Permasolid HS Performance Surfacer 5320. Delegates learn how to get the most out of this easy-to-apply surfacer, which offers smooth surface levelling and very good vertical stability. Following application, they discover just how easy this product is to sand.
Next, before learning how to apply Permahyd Hi-TEC 480 basecoat, correct use of the ColorDialog spectrophotometer and Hi-TEC colour index is taught. This enables quick and efficient colour matching. Finally, delegates are shown how to achieve a great finish, simply and reliably, with Permasolid HS Clear Coat 8055 and Permasolid HS Optimum Plus Clear Coat 8650 .
On day two, the focus is primarily on blending. Attendees learn a variety of blending techniques, working within a simple, systematic framework that ensures reliable and rapid results every time.
The course is suitable for those who have recently installed the Hi-TEC Performance System in their bodyshop and for technicians already working with the system that need to increase their skills and knowledge of it. Attendees are taken from substrate preparation to end result over the two days and leave proficient in every aspect of the Hi-TEC Performance System.
