Our VOC-compliant Permahyd® Hi-TEC 480 is still the basecoat of choice for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport. We create the brilliant, aluminium effect silver especially for the team. It can be seen on their brand new 2017 race car, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+. The paint is designed to cover the substrate extremely well so it reduces weight on the car to a minimum, and it’s quick to apply, fast-drying and meets the demanding needs of the racing arena.
