Digital color measurement

The advanced ColorDialog spectro.

Precise, practical and now even handier – the improved Spies Hecker ColorDialog spectro spectrophotometer simplifies color identification for refinishers.

The vehicle is ready for painting and the colour now has to be precisely identified. With a digital spectrophotometer, this task is much easier, and particularly with the optimized version of the ColorDialog spectro. “In the refinement of the device, we’ve responded to users’ comments, requests and suggestions,” explains Dietmar Wegener, Color Coordinator at Spies Hecker.

The outcome is practical features that improve operations with the ColorDialog spectro in everyday workshop processes. As of now, for instance, the refinisher has the choice between a Bluetooth function and a USB cable for transferring the readings from the device to the computer. The advantage is a rapid link from the spectrophotometer to the computer. Advanced Bluetooth technology is already integrated in the instrument – a Bluetooth adapter for the computer comes with the spectrophotometer.
The extended version of the ColorDialog spectro is complemented perfectly by the CRplus formula search software. This also accelerates work processes in the bodyshop.
Further benefits of the improved ColorDialog spectro for the user: Supplied with the instrument are a practical wrist strap and an optional protective bag. This way the spectrophotometer is always secure during use and protected from dirt for a longer service life. Dietmar Wegener: “Also provided are two new calibration tiles (white and green) for instrument calibration and a functional check of the instrument and its readings.”
