The new primer surfacer is VOC-compliant and helps speed up application processes

8 December 2021 – Spies Hecker has launched a new VOC-compliant primer surfacer for commercial vehicle repairs. Permafleet® VHS DTM Primer Surfacer 4060 is a universal high-solid primer surfacer with a wide range of applications from small, localised repairs to a full repaint of larger vehicles. It can be applied directly to a variety of metal substrates, enabling bodyshops to save time and to increase throughput.

It is easy to use and simplifies the entire paint application process for CVs. It can be used either a fast-drying sandable primer surfacer when high build finish is required, or for quick wet-on-wet overcoating with Permafleet top coats. It also offers high quality corrosion protection and very good adhesion. And most importantly, it provides an excellent finish, so CVs will always look their best on the road.”

Permafleet VHS DTM Primer Surfacer 4060 is available in three shades - white, medium grey and dark grey. It can be used with a variety of Spies Hecker hardeners and can be used in conjunction with 2K top coats such as Permafleet 2K HS Top Coat 670/675 as well as Permahyd® Hi-TEC Basecoat 480.
